Basia Lyjak was nominated in the category of Emerging Performing Arts, her latest single, Sunshine, was released on May 10th credits Mississauga's happening music scene for giving her a stage to launch her career.
"There are so many bars and clubs that offer singers and musicians a place to perform," she says. "I've always been very encouraged and supported by the music community here."
